Recently=2C New York's Public Health official (a DeBlasio appointee) made=
 an inflammatory statement about cops=E2=80=A6. Almost wishing for their d=
eath from COVID:

New York City's health commissioner blew off an urgent NYPD request for 50=
0=2C000 surgical masks as the coronavirus crisis mounted - telling a high-=
ranking police official that "I don't give two rats' asses about your cops=
=2C" The Post has learned.

Dr. Oxiris Barbot made the heartless remark during a brief phone conversat=
ion in late March with NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan=2C sources=
 familiar with the matter said Wednesday.

Monahan asked Barbot for 500=2C000 masks but she said she could only provi=
de 50=2C000=2C the sources said.

"I don't give two rats' asses about your cops=2C" Barbot said=2C according=
 to sources.

"I need them for others."

The conversation took place as increasing numbers of cops were calling out=
 sick with symptoms of COVID-19 but before the department suffered its fir=
st casualties from the deadly respiratory disease=2C sources said.

This evil person spit in the eye of the 5=2C500 cops who came down with CO=
VID=2C and 41 deaths from the disease. Those were brave men and women with=
 families=2C and Mayor DeBlasio does not care one bit about them!

He hasn't even fired the slimeball official who said this ghoulish thing.=
 AOC hasn't condemned her comments NOR called for her to be fired=2C even=
 as other NYC Congressional Dems have done so!

Don't forget AOC's historical dislike of police of any kind. AOC has tweet=
ed support for protesters attacking NYPD cops. She wants cops to stop enfo=
rcing Subway laws. She blames cops for the consequences that befall violen=
t lawbreakers.

ent to purchase for our members while we waited for the city to distribute=
 masks."

Patrick Lynch=2C president of the Police Benevolent Association=2C called=
 Barbot's comments "despicable and unforgivable."

I don't want to hear about how the liberals want to keep people safe. They=
 don't care at all about keeping people safe. All they want is to use this=
 crisis to reward their friends and punish the rest of us.

We need public officials=2C especially in Congress=2C who back the Blue. A=
OC and her extremist allies will never do so. But I'm a former NYPD cop -=
 and I never forget!

The restraints she wants to place on our brave Border Patrol and ICE agent=
s are insane. She thinks the illegal alien criminals are the heroes=2C and=
 the LEOs are the criminals.

I say=2C those who risk their lives to keep us safe are the REAL heroes!

AOC has cost tens of thousands of my neighbors jobs by chasing away Amazon=
=2E She has been a shame upon New York. It's time to end the AOC experiment=
