Title:	A New Large NIR brightening of the Blazar PKS2345-16

We report on an important NIR brightening of the intermediate redshift
QSO (z=0.576) [hb89]2345-167 also known as PKS2345-16, cross-correlated
with the radio source and the Gamma-ray source 4FGLJ2348.0-1630. On January
21st,2026 (JD2461061.6237), we found the source with NIR fluxes corresponding
to J = 13.88 +/- 0.04, H = 12.98 +/- 0.05 and Ks= 12.23 +/- 0.05. While,
on JD2461021.6997 the flux in the H band corresponded to H = 14.16 +/-
0.04. Hence, the source has increased its flux by a factor of 3, in this

lapse 0f 40 days. Previously, on JD 2460950.8806 the flux in the H band
corresponded to H = 14.69 +/- 0.02, hence the increment with respect lo
the later measurement has been a factor of about 5. The source has shown
NIR flaring activity in the past (ATel#12402, Atel#13187). Our observations
are carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory
operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics
(Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage
further multi-wavelength coverage.
