Miller (University of Michigan) Queries: jonmm@umich.edu Posted: 30 Sep 2025; 14:31 UT Subjects:Ultra-Violet, X-ray, Black Hole, Tidal Disruption Event The Neil Gehrels Swift telescope observed the AT2025vjw on 2025 September 26 and 28, prompted by the possibility that the source may be a relatively nearby tidal disruption event (TDE). AT2025vjw is not detected in X-rays, with an upper limit of F < 4 E-14 erg/cm2/s when assuming a Gamma=2.0 power-law in the 0.3-10.0 keV band, or F < 2 E-14 erg/cm2/s when assuming a kT = 50 eV blackbody. A source is clearly detected in the UVOT m2 filter, which is ideal for its small red leak. An m2 magnitude of 17.94 +/- 0.08 (AB system), consistent with a flux density of F = 1.47 +/- 0.11 E-15 erg/cm2/s/A, is measured on both days. The magnitude and flux density are not host-subtracted.
