The object was discovered on a co-added 900-s R-band CCD frame taken on 2025 May 9.089 UT with the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov under poor observing conditions. The object was independently discovered on May. 7.883 UT by J. Xu et al. and designated as PNV J00414774+4112048 = AT 2025keh. The object was designated by us as M31N 2025-05a and is located at R.A. = 0h41m47s.73, Decl. = +41o12'04".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 638.4" west and 243.7" south of the center of M31 (see link to discovery image below). Felix;(INAOE, Mexico) Queries: carrasco@inaoep.mx Posted: 9 May 2025; 21:37 UT Subjects:Radio, Infra-Red, Optical, Gamma Ray, TeV, AGN, Blazar, Quasar We report on the recent NIR brightening of Flat Spectrum Radio Quasar OP313, also cross identified with 4FGL J1310.5+3221. On May 8th , 2025 (JD 2460803.8398) we found the object undergoing a new outburst. At this time, its NIR fluxes in the JHK bands corresponded to J=11.876+/-0.03, H=11.189+/-0.03 and Ks=10.355+/-0.03. While, one month earlier, on JD 2460773.9679, the NIR fluxes in JHK bands were J=13.405+/-0.055, H=12.695+/-0.055 and Ks=11.825+/-0.055. Hence, the object has increased its luminosity in the JHK band by a factor of almost 4 in this lapse. Recently, the object has shown renewed gamma-ray, optical and NIR activity (see: ATel#17167, ATel#17173 and ATel#16991). Our observations are carried out with CANICA a NIR camera on the 2.1m telescope at the Observatorio Astrofisico Guillermo Haro, which is operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE, Mexico).
