Si tratta di un osservatorio in costruzione, che rileverà i lampi di radiazione Cherenkov, emessi in atmosfera quando elettroni e positroni prodotti dai raggi gamma e dai raggi cosmici provenienti dallo spazio si scontrano con l'atmosfera.
