<title>Dove è possibile trovare i file di cui effettuare il backup?</title>

Decidere di quali file eseguire il backup e individuarne la posizione è il passo più difficile quando si tenta di eseguire un backup. Di seguito vengono elencate le più comuni posizioni dei file importanti e delle impostazioni di cui eseguire un backup.

 disk, for example), consider backing up the entire Home folder. You can find
 out how much disk space your Home folder takes up by using the
 <app>Disk Usage Analyzer</app>.

 Any file or folder name that starts with a period (.) is hidden by
 default. To view hidden files, click the
 <gui><media its:translate="no" type="image" src="figures/go-down.png">View options</media></gui>
 button in the toolbar, and then choose <gui>Show Hidden Files</gui>, or press
 <keyseq><key>Ctrl</key><key>H</key></keyseq>. You can copy these to a
 backup location like any other file.
