<title>Notificacións e a bandexa de mensaxes</title>

 <title>Que é unha notificación?</title>

If an application or a system component wants to get your attention, a
 notification will be shown at the top of the screen.

For example, if you get a new chat message or a new email, you will get a
 notification informing you.

Outras notificacións teñen botóns de opcións seleccionábeis. Para pechar unha destas notificacións sen seleccionar unha das súas opcións, prema no botón de pechar.

Ao premer no botón de pechar en calquera notificación omítense. Outros, como Rhythmbox ou o aplicativo de conversas, manteranse ocultos na bandexa de mensaxes.

<title>A bandexa de mensaxes</title>

The message tray gives you a way to get
 back to your notifications when it is convenient for you. It appears when you
 click on the clock, or press
 <keyseq><key xref="keyboard-key-super">Super</key><key>M</key></keyseq>. The
 message tray contains all the notifications that you have not acted upon or
 that permanently reside in it.

A bandexa de mensaxes fornécelle unha forma de volver ás súas notificacións cando crea conveniente. Aparece, cando move o rato á esquina inferior dereita da pantalla, ou preme <keyseq><key xref="keyboard-key-super">Super</key><key>M</key></keyseq>. Tamén pode mostrar a bandexa de mensaxes premendo na icon de número de mensaxes na parte dereita da lista de xanelas. As bandexa de mensaxes contén todas as notificacións sobre as que non actuou ou aquelas que residen permanentemente.

Pode ver as notificacións premendo nos elementos da bandexa de mensaxes. Os elementos na bandexa de mensaxes son polo xeral aplicativos que lle envían notificacións. Porén, ás notificacións de chat dánselles un trato especial e están representadas por cada contacto individual que lle enviou os mensaxes de chat.

Pode pechar a bandexa de mensaxes premendo <keyseq><key>Super</key><key>M</key></keyseq> de novo ou <key>Esc</key>.

<title>Ocultar notificacións</title>

If you’re working on something and do not want to be bothered, you can
 switch off notifications.

When switched off, most notifications
 will not pop up at the top of the screen.  Notifications will
 still be available in the message tray when you display it (by clicking on
 the clock, or by pressing <keyseq><key>Super</key><key>M</key></keyseq>), and
 they will start popping up again when you switch the toggle to <gui>ON</gui>
 again.

You can also disable or re-enable notifications for individual
 applications from the <gui>Notifications</gui> panel.

When switched off, most notifications will
 not pop up at the bottom of the screen. Very important notifications, such as
 when your battery is critically low, will still pop up. Notifications will
 still be available in the message tray when you display it (by moving your mouse
 to the bottom-right corner of the screen, or by pressing <keyseq><key>Super</key>
 <key>M</key></keyseq>), and they will start popping up again when you switch the
 toggle to <gui>ON</gui> again.
