<title>Verrouillage automatique de l'écran</title>
 
 When you leave your computer, you should
 <link xref="shell-exit#lock-screen">lock the screen</link> to prevent
 other people from using your desktop and accessing your files. If you
 sometimes forget to lock your screen, you may wish to have your computer’s
 screen lock automatically after a set period of time. This will help to
 secure your computer when you aren’t using it.

 <title>Pour paramétrer un délai plus long avant que l'écran ne se verrouille automatiquement :</title>

 Open the <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview and
 start typing <gui>Privacy</gui>.

 Cliquez sur <gui>Confidentialité</gui> pour ouvrir le panneau.
 </item>

 Sélectionnez <gui>Verrouiller l'écran</gui>.
 </item>

 Assurez-vous que l'interrupteur <gui>Verrouillage automatique de l'écran</gui> est sur <gui>Activé</gui>, puis choisissez un délai dans la liste déroulante.

 Applications can present notifications to you that are still displayed
 on your lock screen. This is convenient, for example, to see if you have
 any email without unlocking your screen. If you’re concerned about other
 people seeing these notifications, switch <gui>Show Notifications</gui>
 off.

Si l'écran est verrouillé, appuyez sur <key>Échap</key> pour le déverrouiller, ou balayez l'écran avec la souris de bas en haut. Saisissez alors votre mot de passe et appuyez sur <key>Entrée</key> ou bien cliquez sur <gui>Déverrouiller</gui>. Sinon, commencez juste à saisir votre mot de passe et le rideaux se soulève au fur et à mesure.
