<title>Formato del resultado</title>
 
 Se puede cambiar el formato usado para mostrar los resultados en el menú <guiseq><gui>Calculadora</gui><gui>Preferencias</gui></guiseq>.

 <tr>
 <td><gui>Automático</gui></td>
 <td>Los resultados pequeños se muestran en notación <gui>Fija</gui> mientras que los resultados largos se muestran en notación <gui>Científica</gui></td>

 <td><gui>Fija</gui></td>
 <td>Los resultados se muestran siempre como números decimales</td>
 </tr>
 <tr>
 <td><gui>Científico</gui></td>
 <td>Los resultados se muestran en <link xref="scientific">notación científica</link>.</td>

 <td><gui>Ingeniería</gui></td>
 <td>Los resultados se muestran en notación científica excepto cuando el exponente es siempre múltiplo de tres</td>

 El número de lugares decimales, si se muestran los ceros excedentes y los separadores de miles también se pueden configurar.
