<p><strong>“Qualsiasi sfregamento tra due o più corpi produce carica elettrostatica”.</strong></p>

<p>Nel processo di verniciatura non elettrostatica si verificano degli sfregamenti che originano cariche statiche di bassa entità e che causano dei disturbi all’operatore durante l’applicazione del prodotto verniciante.<br />
                Più precisamente sono due i momenti in cui tali cariche si generano:</p>

<ul>
                    <li>lo sfregamento della vernice nebulizzata quando passa attraverso l’ugello della pistola ( si generano cariche di piccola densità sul puntale pistola che sporcano di vernice la mano dell’operatore);</li>

<li>lo sfregamento della vernice nebulizzata spinta sulla superficie del manufatto durante il processo di verniciatura (questo sfregamento genera una quantità maggiore di cariche statiche che disperdono la vernice sull’operatore e sulle pareti della cabina).</li>
                </ul>

<p>Questi sfregamenti caricano elettrostaticamente le particelle ( o pulviscolo) della vernice.<br />
                Tali particelle scaricano questa energia statica sui corpi, o nelle zone a loro più vicine (cabina di verniciatura, operatore e manufatto) dove la concentrazione di cariche statiche è inferiore causando:</p>

<ul>
                    <li>dispersione di vernice nell’ambiente (over-spray),</li>

<li>l’effetto rimbalzo vernice sull’operatore,</li>

<li>problemi di distensione, uniformità e accumuli di vernice (colature);</li>

<li>tendenza del manufatto ad attirare sporco e pulviscolo.</li>
